On Christmas Eve, December 24, the Korean Council participated in the "Merry-Impeachment Christmas Eve Democracy Cheering Concert—Into the New World" in Gwanghwamun. Citizens and artists sang and chanted with one voice to defend democracy, outraged by Yoon's refusal to appear in the investigation and Han Duck-Soo's throwing responsibility of appointing additional judges and the Special Prosecutor Act.
