On April 2, 2025, the Korean Peace Solidarity for Sovereignty & ย Reunification (KSSPR) held a press conference demanding the dismissal of President Yoon Suk-yeol, accusing him of inciting civil war and provoking war.
In a powerful address, KSSPR argued that if the Constitutional Court truly upholds its role, which was entrusted to it through the sacrifices of the people and their fight for democracy, there is only one rightful decision: an 8-to-0 unanimous ruling to remove President Yoon from office.
The group also called for an immediate and thorough investigation into alleged war-provocation schemes and foreign exchange crimes committed in preparation for a possible martial law scenario. These allegations, they argue, must be pursued alongside the president's impeachment.
The press conference concluded with a symbolic performance in which participants struck down an effigy of Yoon using a "peopleโs gavel of dismissal," representing the sovereign power of the people.
ย ๐ฆ ย 24-Hour Vigil Concludes with Strong Message to the Courtย

The 24-hour protest, titled โSurround the Court! Dismiss Yoon!โ, officially ended at 9:00 PM on the same day. Protesters maintained their presence just steps away from the Constitutional Court, raising their voices day and night in hopes of influencing the courtโs final verdict.
