On November 1st, the last session of the public lecture was held.
Lee Na-young, the chair of the Korean Council and a professor at Chung-ang Univ., delivered the last lecture. The title of the lecture was "The Anti-Japanese Tribalism? Japanophile Fascist Tribalism Network!"
Lee emphasized the movement to solve the Japanese military sexual slavery issue, which is a pillar of the feminist movement in Korea. She also highlighted that history denialists are not an evil minority or individuals but rather an organized movement. Thus, she explained the mechanism of history denialism by categories, such as literal denial, interpretative denial, and implicit denial.
The lecture featured the solidarity movement between Korea-Japan society and repeated backlashes from the two countries.
