On November 28, regarding the first anniversary of the second instance court's ruling in favor of the plaintiffs in the lawsuit against the Japanese government for damages by the victims of the Japanese military "comfort women," the MINBYUN-Lawyers for a Democratic Society's Japanese military "comfort women" TF donated the records of the trial. The ceremony for the donation was held on War and Women's Human Rights Museum's Education Center.
The records received are produced during the lawsuit. The ceremony proceeded in the following order: introduction of the records by attorney Lee Sang-hee and Ryu Gwang-ok, donation agreement, and delivery of the donation certificate. The records will be published to public through the War and Women's Human Rights Archive in 2025.
