Participation in the 2024 Week for the Abolition of Prostitution
In recognition of the 2024 Anti-Prostitution Week, the Korean Council activists have also joined in the solidarity actions. We are collaborating with the Coalition for the Amendment of the Prostitution Punishment Law.
It has now been 20 years since the enactment of the Prostitution Prevention Law. To achieve more effective demand reduction, we must impose severe penalties on facilitators and ensure that victims, particularly women, are not subjected to punishment. It is essential that the law is amended accordingly.
