Museum Education: ADI and Local Activists from Rohingya and Bangladesh

On Saturday, June 29, local activists from Rohingya and Bangladesh, accompanied by ADI, visited the War and Women's Human Rights Museum. ADI (Asian Dignity Initiative) is a non-governmental organization that aims to promote the dignity of Asia by focusing on human rights, peace, and development.


On June 27, ten activists from RWWS, ADI's Rohingya local partner organization, who have co-operated the "Shanti-Khana" with ADI for seven years, arrived in Korea. They stay in Korea for ten days to raise awareness about Rohingya issues and their activities within Korean society. As part of their activities, they visited the War and Women's Human Rights Museum.

*Shanti-Khana: A multipurpose women's healing center in Rohingya refugee camp 14 in Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh. It is co-operated by ADI and the local Bangladeshi NGO RWWS.
