On the 15th, the chairmen of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of Korea, the United States, and Japan met and agreed to strengthen trilateral military cooperation across various areas. In particular, they agreed to regularize Freedom Edge, the trilateral Korea-U.S.-Japan military exercise, and to continue cooperation toward the “complete denuclearization of North Korea.”
