On May 19, 2026, the Korean Council once again invited its supporting members to a special screening of the film 1980 Sabuk at CGV Yeonnam, following the previous screening held on April 22.
This time as well, we watched the film together with around 30 supporting members, sharing the wounds of Sabuk and taking time to reflect on how the issue can be resolved and the situation improved.
The Korean Council will continue to create spaces like this to remember history and carry forward solidarity. We sincerely thank all the supporting members who joined us for the two screenings.
