In celebration of the long Chuseok, the Korean Council sent gifts and letters to the halmonis. The gifts were prepared in accordance with the halmoni's wishes and included items such as dried yellow corvina, meat, and seasonal fruits.
Whenever possible, activists visited halmonis in person to deliver the gifts and share time face-to-face. When in-person visits were not available, the gifts and letters were sent by mail.
We sincerely hope that halmonis enjoyed a warm and abundant Chuseok holiday, and that they remain healthy and well as the seasons change.
