On March 7, the Korean Council participated in the 62nd Emergency Action by Korean civil society to condemn the genocide in Gaza. The imperialist aggression and attacks by the United States and Israel are striking Iran and all across Palestine. Held one day before International Women’s Day on March 8 and prior to the 41st Korea Women’s Rally, the 62nd rally criticized the U.S. and Israeli occupation, genocide, and war crimes for targeting the most vulnerable women and children. We remember the words of the survivors of the Japanese military sexual slavery: “Such things must never happen to children again.”
As a member of the Korean Civil Society Emergency Action in Solidarity with Palestine, the Korean Council will continue to move forward toward the end of women’s human rights violations, peace, and a world without war.
