On February 8, the Korean Council participated in the Pan-Citizen March. The march was held under the banner "NO Yoon, No Trash Day," and included a civic choir and a civic dance group, which opened the event with a powerful performance.

The march was organized in response to Yoon Suk-yeol's controversial dismissal of insurrection charges. Yoon had previously downplayed the severity of the insurrection by stating that he was "chasing the shadow of the moon on the lake." The participants echoed the sentiment that "the insurrection is not over yet," vowing to unite in their efforts to remove those responsible for the insurrection.

On February 15, citizens nationwide gathered to demand the impeachment of President Yoon Seok-yeol, the liquidation of insurrectionary forces, and the dismantling of the People's Power. In Gwangju, a rally against Yoon was held, where the people of Gwangju, known as the mecca of democratization, stood firm in defending Geumnam-ro and emerged victorious in their efforts.

The Korean Council also joined the 2.15 Korean Confederation of Trade Unions, marching toward Sejong Hotel in solidarity with the ongoing high sit-in led by fired Ko Jin-soo.

As Yoon's impeachment trial continues, his outrageous claims stir public anger. The recent revelation of the Noh Sang-won notebooks brought to light disturbing details about Yoon's emergency martial law, which threatened the lives of countless citizens and indicated plans for long-term rule. The martial law went far beyond what anyone could have ever expected.

Since the declaration of martial law on December 3, citizens have fiercely defended Korean society from the threat of insurrection. The Plaza of Light, a symbol of resistance, has been central to this ongoing struggle. The Korean Council reaffirmed its commitment to stand in solidarity with the people, vowing to remain in the street until the distorting history, violence against minorities, and the war-mongering policies of Yoon Suk-Yeol ended.
