On March 14, the Civil Solidarity for Historical Justice and Peaceful Relationship between Korea and Japan, along with the Korean Council, held a press conference and announced the declaration of the state of affairs.  Park Seok-woon and Lee Na-young, co-representatives, are joining sit-in protests and a hunger strike.

The Yoon Seok-yeol administration has orchestrated a serious historical coup, including the third-party payment plan for Japan’s forced wartime labor, non-compliance with the South Korean court ruling on "comfort women," UNESCO’s listing of Sado Mine, and the appointment of New Rights/history denialist figures to key historical institutions.

Despite this, Yoon has shown a humiliating stance toward Japan, committing to the controversial '2015 Korea-Japan agreement'. His authoritarian rule led to a public backlash, but instead of changing course, Yoon escalated tensions by labeling the public as anti-state forces and imposing unconstitutional martial law.

Thanks to the efforts of workers, farmers, and citizens, martial law was lifted. However, Yoon's supporters continue to receive preferential treatment. The Constitutional Court must immediately dismiss Yoon Seok-yeol.
